This page has two purposes it is both the latest thing in auditioning Portland drummers and a way to obtain free beats to use however you wish. I am an experienced, funky and musical drummer. I've been drumming since I was ten and can offer a band a professional kit and and amateur attitude, funky, creative and rockin' beats and the ability to get people up off their asses and onto the dance floor. My funky taste and experience manifest themselves in an infectious groove that's musical, syncopated and never boring. I am also a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist and have been working on projects in my home studio for a while now, but what I really want to do is connect with some irreverent, political, hard hitting musicians who want to have fun and rock Portland. Scroll down and fill out the form. This will allow you to request a drum beat from me. Be as specific as you can, vague requests will get vague drum beats. If you fill out and submit the form, I will send you an email a few days later with instructions for downloading your beat. You can then play the beat for your band, jam to it to get a sense of how I will fit into your sound, or use it in a recording project. You can use the form to audition me or just to get a beat or drum part for something you're working on. Please consider uploading an MP3 of your playing for me to play along with (8 megs max) both so I can hear what you sound like and so I can really nail the part you're asking for.
